Solutions for Aging T&D Metal Structures

Osmose inspects and repairs steel towers, poles, and cabinets (concrete poles as well), whether direct-buried or secured with concrete foundations. Key services include:

• Full Excavation and Inspection. All legs are excavated, cleaned, inspected and repaired as necessary. Proper grade is set by backfilling.

• Predictive Corrosion Screening Process. Using NACE (3T199) Direct and Indirect Measurement Techniques to determine where excavation is necessary, to identify corrosion types, and to evaluate multiple corrosion cells.

• Cabinet inspection and maintenance to improve the safety, reliability, and appearance of padmount transformers and extend their useful life.
