O-Calc software simplifies and automates the process of calculating structural loads on new and existing utility poles. This innovative software takes the guesswork out of load calculation in line design, pole replacement, and joint-use loading issues.
Installed with a facility database that is pre-populated with values for common poles, conductors, crossarms, overhead equipment, guys and anchors, O-Calc is ready to use right out of the box. The software permits fine-tuned calculations that analyze not only pole attributes and attachments, but also wind speed and angle, ice buildup, load angles and heights, and all pertinent codes (e.g. NESC, GO 95 and CSA).
You also get sophisticated reporting and chart options, 2D and 3D viewing of pole configurations, and simple summaries of critical loading data. These kinds of capabilities allow O-Calc to provide accurate load analysis in a variety of useable formats.
